This policy explains what information Spotted Adventures LLC ("Spotted!", "we", "us") collects when you order a personalized field guide, and how we use it.
When you place an order, we collect the information you enter: the explorer's first name, age, travel destination, trip date, nature interests, and your email address. When you pay, our payment processor collects your name and shipping address.
We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
We share order information only as needed with the services that run our business: Stripe (payment and shipping address), Netlify (website hosting and form handling), Airtable (order management), OpenStreetMap / Nominatim (looking up your destination), and Anthropic (generating the guide's written content). We do not sell your personal information.
Spotted! is purchased by adults. The only information about a child we receive is a first name and age, entered by the purchasing adult, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill the order and for normal business and tax records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those obligations.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
